The Latin American flavour has arrived at the Sommerfest! Charly Flow and Julia MQ will bring you the Caribbean flow with a Bachata workshop on Saturday afternoon! Prepare your feet and hips to vibrate to Caribbean music rhythms. You don’t want to miss this! Charly Flow is a dance teacher specialized in Bachata, Salsa, and Merengue and is the first certified Bachata Dominicana teacher in Bremen. Apart from that, he has a PhD in Chemistry and has been working as a scientist at the University of Bremen since 2020. Julia MQ is a professional dancer and teacher in Bremen, specialized in feminine styles (such as Burlesque, Chair Dance, and Heels), but also in Latin American dances like Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue. Both Charly and Julia are founders of Bachata Dominicana Bremen, a project dedicated to spreading Dominican dances and culture in Bremen and Germany.
